After the good words I had to say about Tech Pulse yesterday, I am extremely disappointed by this Chicago Data Night. This was the worst Chicago Data Night I have ever attended. But, before getting into that, I want to talk about getting there! This was my first time taking the Metra! It was great, really simple. I cross the bridge over the Chicago river, passing all the landmarks I commonly go by on North LaSalle: The Super McDonalds, LaSalle Flowers, The Moody Campus, Christ the Savior. I haven’t done a blog in so long. my “daily” journal may be all-time averaging weekly, if that. Something has got to change, because I do think writting consistently is a good thing, and if I am not giving myself the environment to do it, no amount of challenges will change my lack of engagement. Because of this, I will be sunsetting the opinions and daily journal aspect of this website.
